Lake"; a highly fictionalized biography of Henry Wells and William Fargo, the men who started the first safe mail and freight service from the East to the West, with a fictionalized man who helps get Wells-Fargo going, played by Joel McCrea in his first western) starring Joel McCrea, Bob Burns, Frances Dee, Lloyd Nolan, Henry O'Neill (as Henry Wells), Porter Hall, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Ralph Morgan, Mary Nash, Johnny Mack Brown (billed as "John Mack Brown"), Barlowe Borland, Jack Clark (as William Fargo), and Frank McGlynn (as Abraham Lincoln) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
