Artist: Michal Ksiazek Important Added Info: Note that the art of this 2010s commercial poster is taken from a TRIBUTE poster created in 2006 by artist Michal Ksiazek! A leading European dealer tells us the following about that 2006 poster: "I saw the Michal Ksiazek Blade Runner poster at Krystof Dydo's gallery in Krakow Poland in 2004, I loved it and bought half of the edition, the other half was bought by another Polish dealer. There was only one edition of that poster of 200 copies. I then became friends with the artist, asked him to create this Star Wars poster for me and he came up with the poster you are selling (in a separate auction). This poster was printed in Warsaw and 400 copies were printed in 2006. These 400 posters were sold to European dealers. Examples of both of these posters have been sold in prominent auctions, sometimes for great sums of money! The typical Polish movie poster was printed in an edition of 4000 copies, and even though all of these Blade Runner and Star Wars posters were sold directly to dealers, there are only 200 of one and 400 of the other, thus making them more rare than theatrical Polish movie posters." Please bid knowing, though, that this is a 2010s commercial poster with that (albeit slightly different) artwork, but it is NOT the tribute poster from 2006. Condition: very good to fine.
