An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 18") (Learn More) The Cohens and Kellys in Hollywood, the 1932 John Francis Dillon Los Angeles California Jewish/Irish in-law family comedy ("The laugh sensation of the nation!"; one of the series of movies about an Irish girl who marries a Jewish boy and their difficulties in bringing their families together; in this entry, the Kelly daughter is picked for a Hollywood screen test, and she moves there and becomes a star, and her whole family follows, and then so do the Cohens) starring George Sidney, Charles Murray, June Clyde, Norman Foster, Esther Howard, Vivien Dale, and Luis Alberni. Note that by setting this movie in Hollywood, Universal was able to cleverly give all of their then current stars cameo roles as themselves, including Gloria Stuart, Genevieve Tobin, Sidney Fox, Tom Mix, Frank Albertson, Lew Ayres, and Boris Karloff! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and now measures 14" x 18". The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Condition: fair to good. The trimming at the top of the card extends slightly into the top of the artwork. There is paper loss in the bottom border, a tear in the middle of the right, and a partially separated bottom right corner. The card is quite fragile and would benefit from professional restoration!
