Did you know... why such a high percentage of old time collectors or dealers choose when it comes time to sell their collection or their inventory?

The NUMBER ONE question we are asked is "How do you guys do all you do?", but the NUMBER TWO question we are asked is "How do you guys find SO MUCH wonderful material on a continual basis, year in and year out?"!

There is no "secret" to either answer! The first answer is that we work incredibly hard to make sure we do just about everything the way we would want things done if we were a bidder or consignor, and the rare times we make an error, we immediately own up to it and do whatever we can to "make it right", something no other major auction does!

The second answer is that every month or two brings us another very major consignor who is a longtime collector who is FINALLY ready to sell their large collection after many years of buying and never selling. Naturally they almost always go with the one auction house that always treated them honestly as a buyer (especially over many years), and doesn't this approach make a world of sense for every buyer who has decided to start selling their collection?

And every month or two also brings us another very major consignor who is a very longtime collector who has previously consigned some items to other auctions, but have had bad experiences with them, and they vow to never consign to that auction again. And they realize just HOW important complete honesty and a sterling reputation is, and before long that are consigning to us as well (and we only wish they hadn't been so mistreated by others first, but of course many people fall for a sales pitch from people bragging about sky high prices that may never have been realized.

And every month or two also brings us another very major consignor who is a very longtime dealer, who has either tired of all the work, or who is approaching "retirement age" and some of those have never consigned elsewhere, and some have consigned elsewhere and been rebuffed or burned, and they realize that ONLY offers them a realistic way to dispose of a very large inventory!

And before long all three of these types of consignors end up sending us packages every month or more (or end up bringing all their material to us at once) and it is these consignors that allow us to continue offering SO MUCH material week in and week out, and year after year!

And here are two of many thousands of emails we have received from our nearly THREE THOUSAND past consignors, telling just why there individuals chose us over ANY other auction company:

#1 - "I cannot say loud enough what an amazing job you and your team do with your auctions. It is mind boggling and you can absolutely quote me on what I am saying! I started collecting as a kid, many many years ago. I then became a professional and along the way, I continued collecting, including some items I got in my workplace. Some items are on display in my house and I rotate things a bit, but my wall space is not overwhelming filled.
I just turned 66 and I know that someday after I am gone, while my friends and family will probably want the odd item to display in their own homes as mementos, I realize that I don’t want any of them to have the burden of disposing of my huge collection. Even more so because none of them would have the expertise to do so properly themselves or without being victimized if they turned it over to others.
So I am now working on slowly disposing of my collection. While I know all the different auction houses well, know how to build my own website, sell on eBay, etc., none of that makes sense for me to do given how easy it is to work with you and your crew. I cannot tell you how much I marvel at your auctions and the way it all comes together every week.
You have great people there and they seem to give the same depth of attention to every item, great or small. I have dealt with various employees - mostly by e-mail - but sometimes by phone - and every single one has been helpful and courteous. I have never had a long distance business relationship that has been more professional or trustworthy. The only thing likely to change is that I will be sending you more stuff, rather than less, over the next few years. Thanks very much! Best Wishes to you and everyone at!"

#2 - "I'm really very satisfied with your work and our collaboration over this past year. In the past I was consigning to a rival auction house, but then I saw your site and I started to instead entrust my material to you. I really have a lot of material to sell and I'm really satisfied with my choice to change which auction house I use and leave the other one permanently.
I also want to tell you that I am pleased that you are a valid alternative to the many other auction houses in the world, and for me you are the first and only choice. Thank you so much and let me give you one last compliment ... I really appreciate that you always answer me so quickly and precisely. You are a great group. Good day!"
