As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you this week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week, I have the pressbook from Defend Yourself, the 1925 Dell Henderson silent romantic love triangle melodrama (a wild story of a pretty girl whose father is murdered, and she works as a masked dancer in a cafe to support her crippled brother; also working at the cafe is a dancer called "The Mouse", and after many complications, The Mouse kills a rich man who tries to force himself on the pretty girl, and she marries a doctor) starring Marcella Daly (billed as "Dorothy Drew'"), ("With an all star cast including") Miss DuPont (as "The Mouse"; she was born Patricia Hanson, but after she made a few movies, she was "discovered" by Erich Von Stroheim and cast in his "Foolish Wives", and she was then always billed solely as "Miss DuPont"), Sheldon Lewis, and Robert Ellis
