As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

So below is the pressbook from The Loves of Ricardo, the 1926 George Beban silent romantic love triangle melodrama (produced by Joseph P. Kennedy; about a grocer who has a beautiful female ward, and she gets romantically involved with a young man, but comes to realize she loves the grocer, and after many adventures, including underwater Florida real estate, they find true love!) starring George Beban ("World loved star of the stage and screen in the master stroke of his career!"), Soliga Lee, Amille Milane, Jack Singleton, and Monte Collins. Note that in 1928, director/star Beban filmed a single talking sequence, and the film was re-released with that added sequence! Also note that producer Joseph P. Kennedy was of course the father of Joe, John, Bobby, and Teddy Kennedy, and had a well publicized love affair with Gloria Swanson for many years!
