Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds. It had many pinholes, smudges, and tears around the edges. It had a thin strip of paper loss in the bottom of the right border, and the restorer attached new paper to that area, but it is separating from the linen. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
