What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a small diamond-shaped area of paper loss at the top crossfold, affecting the edge of Wayne's eyelid and the tiniest bit of the edge of his eye. It had tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold and small paper loss at the bottom crossfold extending down 1" into the vertical fold. It had some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical fold, with minor wear on the rest of the folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking (because of the paper loss described above at the top crossfold). The poster was expertly backed by a top professional, and it displays wonderfully, and the colors are very bright and fresh (see our image).
