An Original Vintage Folded Dutch Stage Play Poster (measures 31" x 43 1/2" [79 x 110 cm]) (Learn More) Ellert En Brammert (literally translates to "Ellert and Brammert"), the 1930 Dutch outdoor stage play production (based on the legend of two giants and likely staged during a provincial agricultural exhibition called Triantha) which was held from September 1st to the 4th in Assen, Netherlands. Note that the legend has changed over the centuries but at it's core it is about two giants who built an underground home and robbed passing travelers. One of these travelers was a woman and they kept her as a slave to do their housework until she eventually got her revenge. The legend is so popular that there is an open-air museum in region named after the giants. Artist: Devries Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Dutch poster! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has a tiny vertical tear to the left of the middle crossfold and minor wear on the folds. It has some tack holes, tiny tears, and a few creases around the edges.
