An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Harriet Nelson (also known as Harriet Hilliard and Harriet Hilliard Nelson) was a movie and television actress and singer from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: The Falcon Strikes Back, Follow the Fleet, and Take It Big, however, she is best remembered for her role on the long running TV sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" alongside her real life husband Ozzie Nelson. Note that Harriet was hired by Ozzie to be the vocalist for his orchestra in 1932. They married three years later, and appeared in some movies together, but they were billed separately, and she was still billed as "Harriet Hilliard". They both continued working after the births of their two sons, David and Ricky, but in 1944, they started a radio show, "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet", and in 1952, it moved to television, and continued until 1966 (and during that time, son Ricky became a rock 'n' roll legend, first performing songs on their show!). Harriet passed away in 1994 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Harriet Nelson! This signed photo (and others from this same collection we are offering in separate auctions) comes from the estate of Dorothy Credille, who was a Hollywood publicist in the 1930s to the 1950s. During the course of her work, she became personal friends and an acquaintance of all the top Hollywood stars, and she received many autographed 8x10s and 11x14s from them, many personalized to her.
