An Original 1950s (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Trouble in Texas, the 1937 Robert N. Bradbury cowboy western starring Tex Ritter (in his fourth movie; "with His Horse 'White Flash'"), Rita Hayworth (billed under her real name of "Rita Cansino"), Yakima Canutt, Glenn Strange, Bob Crosby, and The Texas Tornados NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Renato Casaro Important Added Info: Note that in the mid-1940s, after Rita Hayworth became a major star, and somebody had the cleverness to re-release this 1937 Tex Ritter western in the United States, which included a minor role for Rita Hayworth, who was then Rita Cansino, as a "new" Rita Hayworth movie, giving her giant top billing, a huge image, and a credit as "The Dancing Senorita". An Italian distributor in the late 1940s or early 1950s went the U.S. distributor one better, and re-released this movie, also as a Rita Hayworth starring role, but with the second billing of "Tom Cooper", who was the "Radio Announcer" in the movie (I imagine they chose that name because it sounded like Gary Cooper). I bet there were many disgruntled patrons who went into this movie expecting to see a new Rita Hayworth movie, only to find they were watching an old Tex Ritter movie with a small Rita Hayworth role!
