An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Film Festival Poster (measures 21" x 28 1/4") (Learn More) A Wonderful Animated or Moving Picture Exhibition, the circa 1900s poster advertising a very early silent film exhibition to celebrate "the greatest invention of the age", the "Optigraph Moving Picture Machine" sold by Sears, Roebuck & Co. and features much information about the scenes that were shown including the U.S. procuring The Philippines, The Landrones, Hawaii, and 'Porto Rio'. Articles suggest that this show used both "Magic Lantern" and motion picture technology. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is some tattering along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster with some small clear tape repairs on the back. There is some discoloration around the edges of the poster and there are minor creases along the foldlines and edges.
