Paint Your Wagon, the 1969 Joshua Logan musical comedy cowboy western ("Ben and Pardner shared everything - the gold, the laughs, the songs... even their wife!"; "Stake your claim to the musical goldmine of '69!"; "Based on the Lerner and Loewe Broadway musical play"; "Screenplay and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, Music by Frederick Loewe"; "Adaptation by Paddy Chayefsky") starring Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood, Jean Seberg, Ray Walston, Harve Presnell, and featuring the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that there are two paper snipes which form a long tagline that were sent to theaters and intended to be glued somewhere on this poster. The two snipes together read "Ben and pardner shared everything - the gold, the laughs, the songs... Even their wife!" (I have a feeling these were sent out in a desperation move by the studio when they got the sense that this movie wasn't going to be "The Musical Goldmine of '69"!). The snipes will be included with the six-sheet, even though they are not pictured. Also note that this poster was stamped "DOM" which means it was printed for use within the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "FOR" for use outside the United States). This six-sheet was printed in 2 sections.

Condition: very good to fine. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There is some darkening and slight extra wear on the part of the back of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded, typical of folded six-sheets (but it has little effect on the front of the poster).

There is a good chance that this poster was never used (it was like send to a poster exchange, and then probably stayed there until it was sold to a collector). The poster has survived in nice condition, but has a few VERY minor imperfections, typical of this type of poster, and typical of the defects caused by opening and closing the posters, and the aging of the paper over many years. We may have written just a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are very minor. You should look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster, which will confirm just how few defects this poster has!
