An Original Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 12" x 16 1/2" [30 x 42 cm]; 113 pages) (Learn More)

Masters and Masterpieces of the Screen, the 1927 C.W. Taylor illustrated book with portraits and biographies for the movie stars of the time and still shots and commentary from many movies. What is so interesting about this book is that it was written in 1927, and it has a massive amount of information and images about Hollywood in the 1920s, not only the stars and the movies, but also behind-the-scenes information as well. I don't know how much of this material has been seen anywhere since the book was first published 85 years ago!

Condition: good. The covers were attached to the spine with a brown cloth tape (that is how it was created) and both covers have become completely separated. There is staining around the edges of the covers, but almost all of the interior pages are in pretty nice condition!
