Kill!"; "Even the innocent girl who loved him was not safe ...once the full moon rose!") starring Clifford Evans, Oliver Reed (in the title role as the werewolf), Yvonne Romain, Catherine Feller, Anthony Dawson, Justin Walters, Richard Wordsworth, Loraine Carvana, and Michael Ripper NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Joseph Smith Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its defects were repaired and it now looks nice. From any distance away, you can't see what restoration was done. It may have had only very minor defects, or it may have had more significant defects that were well restored. It is possible that you can see SOME traces of the restoration from a distance, but if so, we clearly note it below. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). There was a 14" uneven diagonal tear running from the waist of the man at bottom center up into the end of the red dress of the woman being held. At one time there was tape on the back of this tear, and it slightly bled through to the front. Other than this tear, there was only minor fold and border wear, and the poster was basically in nice condition other than the tear and the bleed through. The poster was nicely linenbacked. When you look for it, you can see the bleed through on the repaired tear, but it is really not very distracting. Learn More about condition grades
