The company was started by Brodie McGhie Willcox, Arthur Anderson and Richard Bourne. P&O first introduced passenger services in 1844, with a leisure cruise departing from Southampton to the Mediterranean. These voyages were the first of their kind and the forerunner of modern cruise holidays. Artist: Johnston Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some pinholes, creases, tears and tape stains around the edges (the original tape was not used for any restoration purpose) but a few of the tears are repaired with tape from the back. The poster was partially and lightly folded horizontally at top. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
