Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this special poster! It was consigned to us by a man who worked at various New York City movie theaters in the 1960s and 1970s (and also at 20th Century-Fox), and he acquired a number of movie posters that were created for specific New York City theaters during their limited showings. We have previously auctioned some posters from this man's collection, and this one is another one, which was used at the Regency Theatre in New York City at Broadway and 67th Street. It had a snipe over the bottom area from when it was used again at a different theater, and there is a cardboard piece glued over the top area, which likely promoted a specific theater that was no longer relevant. This poster was created for this specific engagement of this movie at this specific theater, and likely is the only example of the poster that survives (only a few would have been printed, at the most). Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 30" x 42" [76 x 107 cm].

Condition: fair to good. There was a snipe glued over the bottom area that caused surface paper loss when it was removed, and also left glue stains. There is a thick snipe glued over the top area. There are pinholes and smudges around the edges.
