An Original Vintage Autographed Magazine (measures 11 1/2" x 17" [29 x 43 cm]) (Learn More) Movie Collector's World (MCW), the "Bible" of the movie poster collecting hobby for decades! Each month, collectors would eagerly await the new issue, because (in pre-Internet days) other than conventions and auctions, this magazine was their main source of purchasing movie memorabilia. Once the Internet started, the magazine became more a collection of ads for dealers and auctions, but they still continued to contain ads of items for sale. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by author Scott Nollen, who wrote the cover article on James Whale's Frankenstein! Note that this great magazine for movie poster collectors started out as "Film Collector's World" in 1976 (published by Alan Light, who had great fame and fortune publishing "The Buyer's Guide to Comic Fandom"), at a time when there were probably more collectors of actual films than there were collectors of movie posters! At some point in the 1980s, the movie poster collectors started dominating the magazine, and the title was changed to "Movie Collector's World". These are incredibly rare issues from 1980 and 1981 under the original title! Condition: very good. Note that this issue is complete and uncut! We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images. Please bid (or not bid) based on that overall grade and by viewing the super-sized images. Learn More about condition grades
