Note that this classic show was originally an ABC radio program, beginning in 1947. In 1949, it moved to CBS radio. The following year, it moved to NBC radio, and it was also turned into a TV show at the same time, and both the TV show and the radio version continued all the way to 1961! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from the first showing of the 9/27/56 episode of "You Bet Your Life". We know that for certain because it has the date printed on the snipe on the back, as well as a date stamp. It is very hard to find stills from 1950s or 1960s TV episodes that are absolutely from the first release, and are surely not from a 1960s or 1970s re-broadcast. Also note that this TV still measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There is a 4" diagonal crease in the upper left background, with some smaller creases around the edges, but none of them affect Groucho's face. Learn More about condition grades
