The poster had tears and paper loss in Lancaster's right eye. It had tears and tiny paper loss scattered on many foldlines and many smudges and scuffs in the black background areas. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who restored the poster did a pretty good job given the circumstances, but you can still see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
