If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Japanese poster measures approximately 12" x 23" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had separation and a couple of tiny tears down the two vertical foldlines, but otherwise was in quite nice condition prior to backing. The person who linenbacked the poster just mounted the poster and left the minor defects alone. If they bother the new owner of the poster, a talented restorer could touch them up without rebacking the poster. Learn More about condition grades
