It was first developed in West Germany in 1959 as Fanta Klare Zitrone ("Clear Lemon Fanta") and was introduced in the United States under the current brand name Sprite in 1961 as a competitor to 7 Up. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1960s. Also note that this lot needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 9" x 26" x 2", so it will cost more to send than items that fit in our standard flat packages, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses.
