An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 19 1/2" x 31 1/4" [50 x 79 cm]) (Learn More) Melba Einfach Eiskrem (literally translates to "Melba Simple Ice Cream"), the 1950s German advertising poster (with a tagline that translates to "Pure in Color, Fruit and Sweetness") promoting a brand of ice cream, and featuring art by Walter Mueller. Note that Walter Muller co-founded a Stuttgart advertising agency after World War II (WWII), and in 1949 he founded his own agency called "Plan+Form". Also note that several countries in the Eastern Bloc, as well as the Soviet Union, used hot grain drinks as a substitute for coffee during perpetual shortages.
