Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and some tiny tears and tiny dots of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were brown stains in the bottom left corner and a few in the other parts of the bottom of the poster, and two similar stains in the lower right border, extending into the edge of the yellow background. There were some tiny areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer left alone the brown stains at the bottom and the tiny paper loss in the borders, and no excess linen was left around the edges, and the poster is slightly lifting at the edges. In spite of these defects, the poster displays nicely just as it is, and certainly, any restorer could perform additional restoration (with or without re-backing the poster).
