An Original 1959 (from the first release of this movie in Argentina) Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 29" x 43" [74 x 109 cm]) (Learn More) I Vitelloni (released in the U.S. in 1957 under the racier title "Federico Fellini's The Young & the Passionate [Vitelloni]"), the 1953 Federico Fellini Italian/French romantic melodrama ("A daring story of uninhibited youth!"; "Adult Entertainment!"; "Federico's Fellini's Masterpiece of Sensuous Realism"; "a film by Federico Fellini - master of sensuous realism"; "WINNER!... Of the Grand Prize, Venice Film Festival"; about five men in a small Italian town bored with life; the title loosely translates to "bored young men", which summed up many of the post-World War II generation of young Italian men, who had little ambition and just drifted through life) starring Franco Interlenghi, Franco Fabrizi, Alberto Sordi, Leopoldo Trieste, Riccardo Fellini (brother of the director, and an actor and director himself), Leonora Ruffo, Lida Baarowa, Arlette Sauvage, Vira Silenti, Naja Nipora, Jean Brochard, Claude Farell, Carlo Romano, Enrico Viarisio, Paola Borboni, and Silvio Bagolini NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Osvaldo Venturi Important Added Info: Note that this is from an excellent collection of 15 Argentinean posters we were just consigned, and many of them are ones we have never auctioned before or only auctioned once before. We wish that this consignor had lots more of these, but this is all he had, so this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase one or more of these rare posters, many of which have completely different images from other posters from the same movies from other countries. Condition: good. The title of the movie was written on the back of the extreme left of the title in blue marker and it bleeds through to the front. The poster was folded in half an extra time, and it has darkened somewhat, and it has some border creases and tears and some tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. Obviously, a restorer can deal with the bleed-through when linenbacking the poster, but bear in mind this defect before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
