An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 11 1/4" x 14 1/4" [29 x 36 cm]; 35 pages) (Learn More) United Artists 1938-39, the 1938 studio campaign book ("Six United Showmen") featuring images and information on upcoming United Artists movies that were produced by Samuel Goldwyn, Alexander Korda, David O. Selznick, Walter Wanger, Edward Small, and Hal Roach. This was a really sensational group of movies, which included Stagecoach, Wuthering Heights, The Thief of Bagdad, Made For Each Other, Drums, and more. Note that all of the interior pages are in black & white, but many have very striking images, some of which likely appeared nowhere else than in this book. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note: We have 13 images of the campaign books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 13 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 3. Condition: very good. There are small brown stains in the center of the top and bottom of the cover, and the interior pages are very lightly rippled in the top and bottom (but they are not at all stuck together).
