Green silent poor-little-rich-girl family relationship comedy melodrama (about a rich girl who is sent to live with her nurse when her mother re-marries, and she grows up poor, and she returns to her mother, but feels so out of place that she gets a job as a maid instead!) starring Mary Pickford, Gertrude Astor, Wilfred Lucas, Helen Raymond, and C. Norman Hammond. Note that Mary Pickford's brother is billed as co-director, but he was certainly hired because of his sister, and one wonders how much "directing" he did! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards. Condition: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the top blank area and the three blank borders were either very tattered or had been trimmed off to the edge of the image on some or all of the sides. The edges of the image were somewhat tattered, with some slight paper loss and tears. The rest of the image area was in pretty nice shape, except for the damage around the edges noted above.
