Artist: Philippe Halsman (photo) Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this special Japanese poster, which has the classic image of Clint Eastwood pointing his magnum by Philippe Halsman, who is credited, and it sold for $725! The poster appears to be a commercial tie-in poster from the Etoile Co. Ltd., to promote their paper products, would likely account for its extreme rarity. Also note that this poster features stats for Eastwood's 44 magnum revolver and what seems to be a mistranslation of Dirty Harry as "Dirty Hurry"! Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has faint brown dot stains on the back of the top 4" and the bottom 4", and they show through to the front in several areas. There are also some light partial horizontal folds scattered throughout. After restoration by a talented professional, the poster will display wonderfully, but consider the above before bidding on this rare poster. Learn More about condition grades
