This book gives contact information for all the directors and top production people for the movies made in 1931, and they are cross referenced both by people's names and by the films themselves. This book does not have biographical information as does the two Motion Picture Almanac books we are selling separately on eBay. However, this book has far more ads than the other two books, two of which are pictured below (note that several of the ads have photographic images of famous directors of the day, including John Ford). A few of the pages have small reproductions of 24-sheets from famous 1931 movies! There is also a special section of 40 photographs called "The Browning Collection of Unusual Photographs", printed on a better quality stock. These photos give artsy representations of the various aspects of filmmaking! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this book came from the estate of Alex Gordon. He told me that he thought this was the only surviving example of this book, and I myself (who collect similar books) had never seen or heard of another example of this book!
