An Original Vintage Folded Television TV Poster (measures 38" x 40 1/4" [97 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

The Milton Berle Spectacular, the 1962 Barry Shear television (TV) special starring Milton Berle, Jack Benny, Janis Page, Lena Horne, Laurence Harvey, Kirk Douglas, Charlton Heston, and Les Brown and his Orchestra. Note that Douglas and Heston make silent cameos! Also note that the IMDb identifies this TV special as "The Milton Berle Spectacular", but we have auctioned an original 1962 TV poster that identifies it as "The Milton Berle Show", so we don't know if the title was changed after the poster was printed, but prior to airing, or if the IMDb is simply wrong. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that television posters from the early days of television are incredibly rare! This poster is definitely for the first showing of this TV show, because the show did air on Friday, March 9, 1962, and this poster would not have been used for any other showing. Not only have we never auctioned this poster before, but we have auctioned very few TV posters from this era, and none like this for a specific TV special, and not a series.

Condition: very good. The poster has a tape stain in the top blank border and some minor fold and border wear. It has a stain on the back of the bottom right corner (the portion that was on the outside when the poster was fully folded) that slightly bleeds through to the front by the "9TH" (see our image).
