An Original Vintage Autographed Television Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 57 pages) (Learn More) Denny Miller was an actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. He is best remembered for playing Tarzan in the 1959 movie "Tarzan the Ape Man". He was the twelfth actor to play Tarzan, and he signed Tarzan related autographs with "#12". He also played the Gorton's Fisherman in TV commercials for 14 years. Some of his other roles include: TV's "Wagon Train", and The Norsemen. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this TV script (which was Denny Miller's personal copy that he used for the filming of this show) has been personally autographed (signed) by Denny Miller! Talk about political correctness and changing times! In this script, Miller played a mentally challenged character on the show, and as a joke, he inscribed the cover "Phil - Type casting - I AM Retarded!"! Also note that this TV script is the revised draft from April 9, 1974 and the screenplay was written by Charlene Bralver & Robert Bralver, and included with this script is the "call sheet" from the sixth day of shooting. Note that this is one of many items that was consigned to us by legendary Tarzan collector Phil Petras. Mr. Petras was one of the greatest Tarzan fans ever, and he became good friends with several of the actors who played Tarzan, and over many decades, starting in the 1970s, he would meet with actors and actresses who had appeared in Tarzan movies, sometimes on the sets of films, and sometimes at fan gatherings. Prior to his recent passing, he consigned most of his collection to us, and we are currently auctioning many of his autographed items, sometimes from actors who played Tarzan or Jane, and sometimes from actors who appeared in one or more Tarzan movies (but the items we are auctioning may or may not be from their Tarzan films). Mr. Petras naturally did not have "certificates of authenticity", but we feel certain that the autograph on this item, and every other item we are currently auctioning from his collection, is surely authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. Condition: very good. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script. Learn More about condition grades
