Date Sold 8/6/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Unfolded Autographed Limited Edition Print (measures 24 1/4" x 30" [62 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Burt Reynolds was an actor from the 1950s to the 2010s. He was partially of Cherokee Indian ancestry, and he had his first major success as the character Quint, the "half-breed" on TV's popular "Gunsmoke". Some of his movies include: Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, Boogie Nights (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Longest Yard. In April of 1972, right after he made Deliverance, Reynolds posed for a nude centerfold for Cosmopolitan Magazine, which was a MAJOR sensation at that time (although the photo was "tastefully" arranged so that there was not complete nudity)! He is well known for his romantic relationships with Sally Field and Dinah Shore, and his marriage to Loni Anderson. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 82. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster (which is a limited edition print published by Nostalgia Merchant in 1981, and is #359/2000) has been personally autographed (signed) by Burt Reynolds! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who (together with his wife) has been a collector and dealer in autographs for decades! Over those years they obtained a huge number of autographed items through the mail, and they also attended events where they could obtain autographs in person, and they also set up as dealers at collectible shows, where they would buy autographs and sell and trade some of their own. Over the years, they developed friendships with some of the celebrities they obtained autographs from, sometimes acquiring memorabilia of a particular celebrity that they would send to them as a gift, as a thank you for you the many autographs they obtained (in many cases, the items are personalized to either our consignor, or to his wife, or to both of them). If we know any information about how this specific item was obtained, it is written above. But in general, we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. There are some brown dot water stains scattered around the edges of the print. Learn More about condition grades
