You're almost 100% Bad!... But whatever you are, darling, you're my man!"; "Taylor 'N Turner, They're dynamite in Johnny Eager"; "Based on a Story by James Edward Grant"; about a district attorney who is obsessed with putting a brash gambler/gangster behind bars, but then things get very complicated when his beautiful daughter falls in love with the guy) starring Robert Taylor (in the title role as Johnny Eager), Lana Turner, Edward Arnold, Van Heflin (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Robert Sterling, Patricia Dane, Glenda Farrell, Henry O'Neill, and Diana Lewis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the poster says "AN MGM MASTERPIECE REPRINT" in the bottom right. This was a terminology used by MGM at this time for some re-releases, and it has caused some collectors to be confused! This poster is the original poster from the 1950 re-release of this movie, and is NOT a "reprint"! Condition: good to very good. This poster has been linenbacked, but it was not very well done, either because the restorer did not do a very good job, or because the years since it has been linenbacked have not been kind to the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Generally, it had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and tiny paper loss in parts of some foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above general defects and the restoration of the defects (in some cases, as should be immediately evident in our image, the linenbacker did no restoration to some of the defects). I can imagine some collectors displaying this poster just as it is, and accepting the defects and signs of restoration, although other collectors would only display it if it had additional restoration.
