An Original 1941 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Poison Pen, the 1939 (released in the U.S. in 1941) Paul L. Stein English romantic crime murder mystery melodrama (based on the play by Richard Llewellyn; about a small English town whose residents begin receiving hate-filled poison pen letters, and the town becomes scandalized) starring Flora Robson, Robert Newton, Ann Todd, Reginald Tate, and Geoffrey Toone. Note that this movie was released in England in 1939. Republic Pictures bought the rights to it in 1941, and they released it with a poster that made it look as though it was their own release, and they "cheated" quite a bit on the poster, because the movie is set in a small English town, but the poster shows New York skyscrapers in the background! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1941 movie paper, especially lobby cards, from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single lobby card from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
