Booth"; about a German-American college student who is recruited by Nazis to become a spy, but instead, he goes to the FBI, who convince him to play along and be a double agent, so they can hopefully break the spy ring; filmed to look like a documentary) starring William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, Lydia St. Clair, William Post Jr., Harro Meller, and Kurt Katch (who was replaced by Alfred Zeisler but can be seen on lobby cards) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare complete set of lobby cards for this movie (we have never auctioned a complete set of cards for this title in all of our years of auctioning!). Note also that the original lobby cards created for this movie were printed on two different kinds of paper stock (it was exactly around this time that studios went from printing lobby cards on a heavier stock to printing them onto a thinner stock, and it makes sense that these card were likely done at the transition time, so they were printed both ways). This set of cards were printed on both the heavy and thin stock (the first 4 cards shown in the images are on the thinner stock, and the last three are on the heavy stock). Condition: good to very good. A few scene cards have a few pinholes around the edges that can be seen in our images. The card with the group at the table has a scuff mark at left and a few pinholes around the edges (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal) and one has a tiny pinhole at center. The card with Nolan in front of the FBI symbol has some tape on the back that was not put there for any restoration purpose, typical of vintage lobby cards. The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no other tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
