eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 9k014 MAGNUM FORCE die-cut 2-sided 15x37 mobile 1973 Dirty Harry Clint Eastwood w/ gun, ultra rare! Date Sold 9/7/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Mobile (measures 14 3/4" x 37") (Learn More) Magnum Force (released in outside the U.S. as "Calahan", "Magnum '44'", and ".44 Magnum", which had been the working title for the movie), the 1973 Ted Post San Francisco California detective crime action thriller sequel ("Clint Eastwood is Dirty Harry in Magnum Force"; "Story by John Milius"; "Screenplay by John Milius and Michael Cimino"; based on the characters by Harry Julian Fink & Rita M. Fink) starring Clint Eastwood ("is Dirty Harry"), Hal Holbrook, Mitchell Ryan, David Soul, Felton Perry, Robert Urich, Christine White, and Adele Yoshioka NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we auctioned this mobile in the past, and the winner of that auction has re-consigned it to us. It is the exact same one that we auctioned the first time (when it sold for $1,450), and it is still the only example of this item we have ever auctioned! Also note that this die-cut mobile has the same image on each side (we photographed both sides), and there is a tiny hole above Eastwood's hair with a piece of string, where the mobile can be hung from the ceiling and both sides can be viewed. Note that this poster will need to be sent in a very large flat package that measures approximately 18" x 38" x 1" high, so please bear the shipping costs of this very large package in mind BEFORE you place a bid! Condition: good. There are four creases in the gun barrel and one crease near the trigger. There is a crease in Eastwood's wrist, one in his shoulder and one running through his hair. There are a few faint brown stains in the white area around the end of the barrel of the gun. The reverse of the mobile has many scuffs and scratches scattered throughout (see our image). Obviously, one would prefer to find this in better condition, but this sort of item almost never is found at all, and the few times items like these are found, they are almost always either missing pieces of separated into pieces (because they are long and irregular, and almost impossible to store in a normal way). In spite of the above defects, this incredibly rare item can be displayed and enjoyed as it is (it would make far more sense to display the better condition side than the other side). However, please bear in mind the condition defects of this item (and look at our super-sized images before bidding on it). Learn More about condition grades
