Casting Directors' Album of Screen Children: "Stars of Tomorrow", the 1927 Le Roy Lane book featuring images of then-current child actors. It was published by "The Screen Kiddies' Guild", which was a company that parents desperate to get their children into movies would hire to help them get their kids jobs in movies (and supposedly, a requirement to be in the book is that they had to have appeared in at least one movie), but we know that next to none of them ever did, and they probably spent a lot on the ads, which probably few people ever looked at. The only issue of this we have seen is the sixth issue, which was from August-September 1927 (and that one contains an ad for Jean Darling, Jackie Searle, and Toby Wing, all of whom did go on to successful careers, but we wonder if those weren't there to make the book "look good"!). If anyone knows more about this book, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.
