An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Vice Squad, the 1931 John Cromwell romantic love triangle bad girl prostitution crime thriller (a wild story of a foreign diplomat who gets involved in a killing of a corrupt cop, and even though he did not do it, the police get him to become an informant who helps them arrest prostitutes!; this causes him to leave his fiancee Kay Francis, and he ends up being helped by another woman, who ends up in jail, and he returns to Francis, but he feels obligated to help the woman who helped him) starring Paul Lukas, Kay Francis, Judith Wood, William B. Davidson, Rockliffe Fellowes, and Esther Howard NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a lobby card that was heavily trimmed to 8" x 10", a single 8x10 still, and a Swedish poster from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this second lobby card (which, unlike the earlier one, does not have the whole title and credits area trimmed off)! Note that this lobby card is from a remarkable find that was just made of extremely rare lobby cards from the very early 1930s, the kind of titles you never see! Unfortunately, all of them were in lesser condition and some in much lesser condition. We took out the best seven for individual auctions (and this is one of those), and then there are eleven incomplete sets of cards in eleven separate auctions, and finally, we made four bulk lots of the cards in the worst condition. All of these will be auctioned in our auctions that end in January, and afterwards, there will be no more cards from this remarkable find! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There is paper loss in the middle right that extends into the bottom of the "SQU" of "SQUAD". The card has darkened. There are a few small areas of paper loss in the blank borders.
