An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 4" x 9 1/4" [10 x 23 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) When Men Hate, the 1913 Sidney Olcott silent family feud romantic marriage melodrama ("An intensely dramatic portrayal of family hatred in three reels"; about two families with a very long term feud, and naturally, the daughter of one falls in love with the son of another) starring Alfred Hollingsworth, Gene Gauntier, and Jack J. Clark. Note that this was one of the earliest movies by the Warner's Feature Film Co., which was started in 1911, but did not make their first movie until 1912. It was owned by several Warner brothers, and, of course, they would go on to become the famous Hollywood studio, Warner Bros., but this is one of their earliest movies. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
