An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Niagara Falls, the 1932 Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle (billed as "William Goodrich") comedy short ("A Gay Girls Comedy"; part of the Gay Girls comedy series) starring June MacCloy, Marion Shilling, and Gertrude Short. Note that after Fatty Arbuckle's career as an actor was ended by the scandal involving a girl dying at a "wild party", he was able to direct some movies, but only under pseudonyms, as in this case. This was the second to last short that Arbuckle directed before passing away in 1933. Also note that the word "gay" had a totally different meaning in 1932, but since it has changed, "a Gay Girls comedy" would now have a totally different meaning.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster is extremely rare. It is the only poster of any kind that we have ever auctioned from this movie! Given that this was a comedy short, it is likely that next to no theaters ordered posters for it (and the studio likely only made a one sheet and a set of four lobby cards)

Condition: very good to fine. The poster has the tiniest of separation at each crossfold and a pinhole in each corner. It has the letters "PA." written in red paint on the back of the middle right of the poster, but it does not show through to the front at all. It has very minor fold and border wear. It has surely survived in about as good condition as one could have hoped.
