An Original 1955 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage Theatrical Folded German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) La Citta si Difende (released in the U.S. as "Four Ways Out"), the 1951 Pietro Germi Italian crime thriller ("Four Ways Out and each a man trap!"; an episodic story of four "losers" who join together to commit crimes; Lollobrigida is top billed because she is a sexy young woman, but she is not the star of the movie by any means!) starring Gina Lollobrigida, Renato Baldini, Cosetta Greco, Paul Muller, Fausto Tozzi, and Enzo Maggio. Note that master Italian director Federico Fellini wrote one of the segments of the movie (both the story and the screenplay). Also note that one of the segments of the movie has the four protagonists robbing a soccer stadium's box office while the game is in progress. Stanley Kubrick used this same idea in his classic movie "The Killing", switching it to a race track, but there are no other similarities beyond the basic idea. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bruno Rehak Important Added Info: Note that for the German release of this movie, the distributor raised Paul Muller to top billing, and he dominates the poster, even over sexy Gina Lollobrigida! This would lead you to think that he is German, especially because he has a German sounding name, but he was actually Swiss! Condition: good to very good. There is separation in the bottom quarter of the vertical foldline and paper loss in the top left corner. Learn More about condition grades
