An Original Vintage Television Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 253 pages) (Learn More) Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, the 1967 - 1973 musical sketch comedy television (TV) series starring Dan Rowan, Rick Martin, Ruth Buzzi, Gary Owens, Alan Sues, Arte Johnson, Henry Gibson, Jo Anne Worley, Lily Tomlin, Goldie Hawn, and Richard Dawson. The show became the number one rated show on TV, and all sorts of major stars made cameo appearances, including John Wayne and President Richard Nixon! Note that in 1977, producer George Schlatter and NBC tried to revive the show (WITHOUT Rowan and Martin!) in a brief series of specials simply called "Laugh-In". They did not do all that well, although a then unknown Robin Williams was one of the many comics who appeared in them, along with famous celebrities. In 1980, Rowan and Martin sued NBC and were awarded $4.6 million! Important Added Info: Note that this TV script is the revised draft from February 3, 1970 and it was written by Allan Manings and Coslough Johnson. Also note that there are a number of taping schedule sheets bound in at the start of the script. Finally, note that there is a large number revision pages from different dates. Condition: good to very good. The script has no cover, and it is possible that additional pages were also removed.
