An Original Vintage Comic Book (measures 7" x 1 1/4" [18 x 3 cm]) (Learn More) The Haunt of Fear was a bi-monthly horror comic anthology series published by EC Comics (E.C. Comics) from 1950 to 1954. The publisher was Bill Gaines, who went on to do Mad Magazine after he was forced to fold the rest of the E.C. Comics line. It was one of three classic horror comics published by E.C., the other two being Tales from the Crypt and The Vault of Horror. All three comics had stories written by Gaines and Al Feldstein, and art by Graham Ingels, Jack Davis, and many others. Artist: Graham Ingels Important Added Info: Note that this is one of two original 1950s E.C. Comics we were consigned from the estate of a collector who passed away (the other is "Weird Science" #18). Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, but we do provide several images of the comic book (cover and interior pages), which should allow you to get a good sense of its condition. Condition: fair to good. There are four pieces of yellowed tape on the spine extending to the front and back covers. The comic has many other defects (see our images).
