NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster appears to be similar to a regular linenbacked one-sheet. HOWEVER, BECAUSE IT HAS HAD LOTS OF PAINT RESTORATION (much of which was likely done decades ago), WE FEEL IT WOULD BE A MISTAKE TO ROLL THE POSTER, SO WE WILL SEND THE POSTER IN A VERY LARGE FLAT PACKAGE (unless the buyer insists on having it sent rolled in a tube, in which case they will lose their return privilege). If the poster is rolled, it will likely cause some of the paint restoration to crack and chip off, and may cause other additional damage to the poster, so we highly do not recommend it. Condition: fair. The poster was likely originally created on a stiff board backing (other cigarette posters I have seen have been like that). Someone took the poster and mounted onto a linen backing, with no excess linen around the edges. Prior to being linenbacked, the poster had considerable stains, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss throughout, more so around the edges where there was more significant paper loss. Overall, the poster was in poor condition prior to linenbacking. The person who did the backing did a pretty good job under the circumstances, because even though you can clearly see that the poster has had lots of restoration (and you can see many signs of the restoration and the defects), the poster still remarkably displays pretty well (I think most people looking at this poster would be impressed by the cool image and play on West's classic tagline, and not really be all that distracted by the extreme restoration). But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its many defects described above (and I would suspect that attempting to re-restore the poster would be extremely costly, so it would likely make more sense to enjoy the poster as it is).
