Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Chabelo y Pepito contra los Monstruos (literally translates to "Chabelo and Pepito vs. The Monsters"), the 1973 Jose Estrada Mexican horror comedy (about two boy scouts checking out the secret behind a haunted house) starring Javier Lopez (in the title role as Chabelo; billed as "Xavier Lopez"), Martin Ramos Arevalo (in the title role as Pepito; billed as "Martin Ramos"), Silvia Pasquel, Pedro Regueiro, and Manuel Cepeda Important Added Info: Note that these are U.S. lobby cards for a Mexican movie, and the exhibitor of this movie showed the movie primarily to Spanish speaking audiences, so the cards were printed in Spanish. In addition, they are from a set of lobby cards that consisted of a stock lobby card with an inset area that was 7" x 8 1/2", and they glued eight different 7x8.5s on to the stock lobby cards, thus inexpensively creating an eight card set! Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards has a black and white still glued to it (as part of the design of the card, typical of international Spanish lobby cards of this time period) which give the card a slightly "wavy" appearance.
