On the Fiddle (released in the U.S. in 1965 as "Operation Snafu"), the 1961 Cyril Frankel English World War II (WWII) con man scam military recruit crime comedy ("It's SEAN CONNERY again!"; "Warm lips or hot lead He's after action not medals!"; "Never have so few FIDDLED so many!"; "From Boudoir to battlefield and back again!"; "From a novel by R.F. Delderfield") starring Alfred Lynch, Sean Connery (pre-James Bond and very young in this role!), Cecil Parker, Wilfrid Hyde White, Stanley Holloway, Kathleen Harrison, Eleanor Summerfield, Eric Barker, Terence Longdon, and Alan King. Note that after Sean Connery's giant success as James Bond, a savvy studio exec released this pre-James Bond movie in the United States in 1965 with a new title, and giving Sean Connery top billing and major artwork on the posters, to convince people that this was a major new Sean Connery movie!

Condition: very good. Someone wrote the name of the movie in the blank box at lower right. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
