An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Shadow of the Law, the 1930 Louis J. Gasnier crime thriller ("Wanted! for a crime he didn't commit"; based on the play 'The Quarry' by Max Marcin and the novel of the same name by John A. Moroso; a wild story of a man who has a woman break into his apartment chased by her drunken boyfriend, and he tries to help the woman, and the drunk falls out a window, and dies, and the man gets convicted of the drunk's murder; he is sentenced to life in prison, but he escapes, and he becomes a respected member of the community, but someone who discovers his identity blackmails him!) starring William Powell, Marion Shilling, Natalie Moorhead, Regis Toomey, Paul Hurst, and George Irving. Note that this movie bears a large similarity to "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang", which was made three years later, but that movie was based on a real incident, and this movie was based on a novel that was turned into a play. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
