An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded South American Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/4" [69 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Flesh for Frankenstein (released in the U.S. in 1974 as "Andy Warhol's Frankenstein"), the 1973 Paul Morrissey French/Italian/U.S. 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) monster horror thriller ("We dare you to see Andy Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein"; "Prepare yourself for the most gruesome epic ever unleashed!"; very loosely based on the classic characters by Mary Shelley) starring Joe Dallesandro, Monique Van Vooren, Udo Kier (in the title role as Baron Frankenstein), Arno Juerging (billed as "introducing Arno Juerging"), Dalila Di Lazzaro (as the female monster), Srdjan Zelenovic (as the male monster), and Marco Liofredi NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we are not sure what country this poster is from! In the past, we have had a few similar posters (in layout and size), and we have called them "Spanish" meaning they are from Spain, but Spanish collectors have e-mailed us that they are definitely NOT from Spain, and some have suggested they might be Brazilian. We have also labeled some of these unknown Spanish language posters as being "South American", and no one has ever been able to zero in on a specific country. If anyone knows more about what country this poster is from, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/4" [69 x 100 cm]. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. UPDATED 12/03/2012: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this poster is not a Spanish-language export from Italy as we initially listed. However, we cannot say with 100% certainty what country it is from as we have seen this poster called Argentinian, Chilean, and Spanish "international"! Therefore, we are listing it as South American and if anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good. There is a 2 1/2" tear in the lower right edge of the poster and there are many tack holes around the edges of the poster with some tattering from rough removal. The left and right 1 1/4" of the poster was folded back at one time and there are some creases scattered throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
