And there is the man called Dersu Uzala the Hunter"; "Grand Prize winner Moscow Film Festival"; "Roger Corman presents a film by Akira Kurosawa"; set in Siberia and filmed during the Cold War!; winner of the Best Foreign Language Academy Award) starring Yuri Solomin, Maksim Munzuk (in the title role as Dersu Uzala), Vladmir Kremena, Dmitri Korshikov, and Svetlana Danilchenko. Note that this movie is based on the 1923 book of the same name by the Russian author Vladimir Arsenyev, which is autobiographical, and tells of his journey to Siberia, where he meets Dersu Uzala, a man who he greatly admires because he treats animals and plants as equal to humans, and he explored the wilderness with Uzala, and invited Uzala to live with him!
