She started on the stage in New York in 1933 and then met Orson Welles and joined his "Mercury Theater". She is likely best remembered by movie fans for playing the first Mrs. Kane in Citizen Kane (which was her film debut!), but she is best remembered by TV fans for playing Phoebe on TV's "All My Children" from 1970 to 2005! She also appeared in Journey into Fear, Obliging Young Lady, and many other 1940s movies. Warrick passed away in 2005 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ruth Warrick! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
